Brampton context
Brampton homes span 60 years of construction — from the 1960s Bramalea originals to brand-new Mount Pleasant builds — and each era has its own painting quirks. Bramalea originals often have oil-based trim that needs a bonding primer before latex will stick. Springdale and Countryside builds have builder-grade flat paint that scrubs off the moment you wipe it, so we upgrade to washable eggshell on walls and semi-gloss on trim as our standard. Every house is different; every quote is walked in person.
Our process
- 01
Protect
Furniture centred and covered, floors papered, HVAC vents masked.
- 02
Prep
Fill, sand, caulk, spot-prime — the boring stuff that decides how the finish looks in a year.
- 03
Cut & roll
Freehand cut lines at ceilings and trim, two full coats rolled with premium sleeves.
- 04
Detail & clean
Trim last, walk-through with the homeowner, everything back in place before we leave.
Signs you need this service
- ▸Builder-grade flat paint that marks and wipes off
- ▸Colour tired, dated, or clashing after a renovation
- ▸Trim yellowing (usually oil paint aging)
- ▸Preparing a Brampton home for sale — fresh paint is the highest-return staging move
Why it matters
Great interior painting is invisible. You don't notice cut lines, drips, roller stipple, or missed spots — you just notice a room that feels lighter, cleaner, and more expensive. Cheap painting is the opposite: you notice everything they missed, forever.
Frequently asked
How many coats of paint do you apply?+
Two full coats over a properly prepped and primed surface is our standard. Some deep colours (reds, dark blues) need three; we quote that up-front, not as an extra.
Do you move furniture?+
Yes. We centre and cover everything in the room, or move it to another room if you prefer. Fragile and valuable items you handle yourself.
What paint brands do you use?+
Benjamin Moore Regal Select and Aura, Sherwin-Williams Emerald and SuperPaint. We can price with any brand you specify.
How long before I can use the room?+
Latex is dry to the touch in an hour and re-coatable in four. Furniture can go back the same evening; hanging art and using switch plates is next-morning safe. Full cure is 30 days — go gentle on scrubbing during that window.
