The signature Springdale issue is nail pops — especially along ceiling perimeters, bedroom walls, and stairwells. The subdivisions here were framed with engineered lumber that did most of its shrinkage in the first two winters, popping fasteners as it moved. A proper repair means adding a screw beside the offending nail, driving the original nail below the surface, and re-mudding with three feathered coats. We do this weekly.
